:: BIOGRAPHY:
SILVA NUNO was born in 1977 in the city of Esmoriz, municipality of Ovar, Aveiro. Since 2016 lives and works in his atelier in Sintra as a Visual Artist and Independent Designer. From 1994 completed his academic career linked to the history of Art and Design in the city of Porto (Jewelry course at Soares dos Reis and Self-taught Painter) and from 2006 in the city of Lisbon (Fine Arts course at AR.CO and Design course at IADE).
IMPORTANT: IMPORTANT: The signature "SILVA NUNO" was assumed from mid 2014, abandoning previous stage names: “Nuno da Silva" It is "Nuno Silva” used between 1995 to 2000; It is "ALTER EGO" It is "ALTEREGO VITAE” between 2000 and 2017. many of works created before 2017 are not represented in this online archive. They will be spread across the country and Europe, without any records of their owners, some awarded but unfortunately without any supporting records.
In the field of fine arts, his true passion and commitment, is an artist who expresses himself in various visual and expressive areas, from painting to sculpture, from drawing to collage, from photography to video, from installation to intervention... and international. It also explores the areas of illustration, comics, animation and does not rule out any area whose context is centered on artistic expression and visual communication.
In the area of Education, feels privileged to be a teacher of Visual Arts (private education/ipss), classes for children and adults, with or without experience, delving deeper into the areas of drawing, painting and installation.
In the Design area, was a student of Excellence, Honor and Merit in the Design Course at IADE (creative University / European University), becoming an independent and multifaceted professional with knowledge ranging from graphic design to webdesign, from product design to design of environments, from marketing to entrepreneurship.
