The children's book publisher Minutes of Reading brought a charming new feature to the Lisbon Book Fair 2024 and future events: the Little House Reading Minutes. This special project was carefully commissioned to complement the publisher's sales stand, providing a magical and functional space.
Painted with vibrant primary colors — yellow, blue and red —, the little house was designed to attract children's attention and stimulate their imagination. In addition to being a recreational piece, where little ones can play and immerse themselves in the world of books, the Casinha Minutos de Leitura is also the perfect setting for storytelling sessions, conducted by experienced narrators hired by the publisher.
The combination of cheerful design and functionality makes this little house a true meeting point for families and lovers of children's literature. Come visit the Minutos de Leitura House at the Lisbon Book Fair and let yourself be enchanted by a space where stories come to life!
Mounting system and resistance
A Little House Reading Minutes It was designed as a removable structure, built in marine plywood to facilitate transportation and assembly on site. This material was chosen due to its strength and durability, essential to withstand intensive use by children.
The design prioritized ease of transport and quick assembly, resulting in a simple fitting system that requires only 11 screws safety devices to reinforce the structure. This approach ensures efficient assembly and practical disassembly, allowing the playhouse to be easily moved and installed at different events.
The use of marine plywood ensures not only the robustness required for frequent use, but also resistance to environmental conditions, extending the life of the structure. This material is widely recognized for its moisture resistance and dimensional stability properties, making it ideal for mobile constructions subject to different conditions of use.
In short, the assembly system of the Minutos de Leitura House combines high-quality materials with an intelligent design, resulting in a resistant structure, easy to assemble and suitable for children.

Gand'a Nuno. I saw lots of children in the little house and I was even afraid they would ruin it! But it was resistant!
My sister-in-law was perplexed by the little house and only later did I realize that you had made it because the little house had your name on it. It was really cool!
